use just an ounce or two of your common sense.
What we do is far from rocket science, but much of what we do for you
takes skilled, experienced professionals to ensure we provide you the quality
you deserve in your new pool! Moreover,
much of what we do as a standard practice in the installation of an in-ground
vinyl pool far exceeds normal practices of our competitors and all our
industry’s standards. Knowing
this like we do, we are completely confident that the quality of any pool

can offer you!

regarding our in-ground vinyl lined pool construction methods, we differ in a
couple of ways. First, we are

To
elaborate just a bit, we incorporate into every in-ground vinyl lined pool we
install a
quality,
hand-finished, smooth concrete floor. This
fact alone separates us, by far, from our competition!
Installers of vinyl lined pools that adhere to this level of construction
are, at best, scattered across our nation.

materials, methods, and workmanship.
Most
vinyl pool builders install either a vermiculite-based
or a sand-based
bottom in their pools. They claim
that a “soft liner” should rest on a “soft bottom”.
However, it is
easy to understand that normal to rowdy
pool activity will easily wear pinholes into your relatively thin (20-27
mil) vinyl liner in a fairly short period of time.
After all, most who listen to sound reasoning would agree that the gritty
effect of the vermiculite and sand bottoms easily cause undue wear and
tear on your pool’s lining. Plus,
unsightly
and highly visible footprints are
easily created in pools with these type bottoms and can make routine cleaning
very aggravating!
Before you allow our competitors to scare you away from dealing with us by inferring that we would install your pool’s liner on a rough and abrasive concrete finish (similar to a sidewalk or driveway), utilize your common sense again and remember that concrete can be finished as smooth as glass (like in a Lowe’s home center). Plus, know that the average life of vinyl liners on sand-based or vermiculite-based pool bottoms is between 3-6 years. Since normal wear-and-tear (pinholes in your pool’s liner) is not considered a manufacturer’s defect, no manufacturer’s warranty covers such damage. On our rock solid and smooth finished concrete bottom, you should expect 10-15 years average life on your pool’s lining … basically double (or more) the life expectancy our competition can offer you with their construction methods!
